The Octagon House is a historic home built in1854. It is furnished with victorian furniture, and the tour tells the story of the lives of the families that lived in the house. The lower picture is from the carriage house in the back, and there is a gift store in back too. Tours are $9 for adults and $3 for children. Kids 5 and under are free.
The house is open today 10-4 for the hot air affair. Regular hours start in May, and tours for 10 or more can be scheduled year round. They also have a special display on the evolution of motion pictures right now.
